การนอนถือเป็น "ความตายเล็ก" ดังนั้นการกล่าวดูอาอ์ก่อนนอนเป็นการมอบวิญญาณแด่อัลลอฮ์ หากตื่นขึ้นมาก็เป็นพระกริยาของพระองค์
ท่านนบีสอนให้ทำวุฎูอ์ (ละหมาด) ก่อนนอน นอนด้านขวา และกล่าวดูอาอ์

- กล่าว "บิสมิกะลลาฮุมมะ อามูตุ วาอัฮยา" (ด้วยพระนามของพระองค์ ข้าแต่อัลลอฮ์ ข้าพเจ้าตายและมีชีวิต)
- อ่านซูเราะฮ์อัลมุลก์ (บทที่ 67) เพราะท่านนบีกล่าวว่าซูเราะฮ์นี้จะช่วยเหลือผู้ที่อ่านก่อนนอน
- กล่าว "อัลลอฮุมมะ อัสอะลุกะเคาะรัล มัตอาฟีรฺ มันตะละ วาเคาะระลอามิน มินตะละ" (อัลลอฮ์เจ้าครับ ขอพระองค์ได้โปรดประทานสิ่งที่ดีที่สุดที่ออกไปจากผู้ใด และขอปกป้องจากสิ่งชั่วร้ายที่เกิดขึ้น)

What does this mean?
Sleep is considered a 'minor death,' so the du'a before sleep entrusts the soul to Allah. Waking up is by His will.
The Prophet taught us to perform wudu before sleep, lie on the right side, and recite du'a.
Important points to remember
- Lie on the right side, with the face turned right and the right hand under the cheek.
- Say: 'Bismika Allahumma amutu wa ahya' (In Your name, O Allah, I die and I live).
- Recite Surah Al-Mulk (chapter 67), as the Prophet said it intercedes for the one who recites it before sleep.
- Say: 'Allahumma as'aluka khayra ma fil-layli wa khayra ma ba'dahu' (O Allah, I ask You for the best of what is in this night and the best of what follows it).
An everyday example
Every night before sleep, perform wudu, lie on your right side, and recite a simple du'a. You'll sleep peacefully and wake up energized.
